SharePoint Files to Teams Assignments

If we have all our teaching resources in SharePoint and are using Cass Teams then there seems to be no easy way (other than download/upload) for staff to attach a file from SharePoint to their Class Teams assignments?

 

Am I missing something?

The "Attach" dropdown list only allows you to select files from other Teams.

There are some recommended guidance for organising and setting up shared teaching resources for use with Teams that should be considered.

There are ways that I've seen schools do this, but there are "limitations" and better ways of doing this.
