Dynabook Tecra A40-G-18A can't connect to WLAN unless driver is rolled back

Dynabook Tecra A40-G-18A can't connect to the school's (only) WLAN network unless driver Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz is rolled back from newer versions e.g. 22.130.0.5 to version 21.90.2.1

- "can't connect to this network"

 

But with newer driver they connect fine on other networks (e.g. tethering).

 

No other devices have trouble connecting to the school's wifi.

 

Has anyone else encountered this?
