Minecraft Education

Hi All,

 

We are having an issue with Minecraft, more specifically students hosting their own worlds and allowing their friends to join.

 

The app works fine in terms of letting them log in and playing the game but if a friend joins it freezes while connecting or allows them to join momentarily and then kicks them out.

 

Generally these are all on iPads but even if we start a world on the classroom desktop we get the same problem.

 

Wifi seems fine and we have tried a couple of different classrooms.

 

I have also been through the Minecraft support pages and made sure sites are whitelisted on our firewall.

 

Has anyone had anything similar?
