faza Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Hi All, I have this issue that when i try to RIS 3 machines they are picking up the same UID as another 3 machines. I have tried everything to get these machines to RIS with a different UID when it RIS'es. I have tried to change the computer details using ADSI the support tool within server 2003. But when i change the three GUID held within there it still picks up the same UID when i try to RIS them. I have tried deleting all 6 computer accounts from the Active Directory and then RIS one machine and then the other one and they both pick up Administrator1. It seems to happen in two's the same 2 machines are picking up the same UID and then there is another 2 and another 2 It's so weird. Is there something that i am missing or can anyone offer any advice Faza
powdarrmonkey Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 The UUID is embedded into the BIOS. Contact your motherboard manufacturer.
