IT Technician

Full time, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year or term time plus

Kingston Grammar School are looking for an experienced IT Technician who is able to assist with the day to day running of the school’s IT systems as well as troubleshoot issues as the occur. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to problem solve effectively.

Working alongside the current Network Manager and IT Technician and reporting to the Director of IT, we are interested in applications from individuals who can demonstrate a good level of technical competence to troubleshoot problems, communicate solutions effectively and provide hardware and software maintenance on a variety of devices. The successful applicant will ideally possess demonstrable experience of managing many users, ideally within a Service Desk environment and will possess a good understanding of Internet technologies. You will be able to work to deadlines, work well as part of a team and be confident providing lesson support for Computing and Computer Science lessons as required.
