  1. Kingston Grammar School is looking for an IT Support Technician to join the busy IT department, providing IT support to the school community. You will provide first-line support to staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and delivering excellent customer service. Working as part of the IT team, the key responsibilities for this role include: Responding to IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues Setting up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices Assisting with user account management and password resets We are interested in applications from individuals who can demonstrate a good level of technical competence, an understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office and familiarity with networking concepts (Wi-Fi, LAN). You will also be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to start their career in IT or build on existing technical skills and experience. The role is offered on a full time, permanent contract working 8:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday based on the school site.   2. Kingston Grammar School is looking to appoint a full-time Digital Media Technician to join the IT Support Team, focusing on the delivery of and support for digital resources across the school. The main responsibility of this role is to provide technical support for school events, assemblies and digital resources within the classroom including digital presentations and audio equipment. The Digital Media Technician will also provide technical support for presentations online and be responsible for creating multimedia presentations and capturing content at school events, editing and presenting the footage to be used across various school platforms. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, remain calm in potentially pressurized situations and be able to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions. Experience in a customer service or media background would be beneficial and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage time effectively, and pay attention to detail. A creative flair to your work is also required as there will be elements of graphic design and presentations including shortform video within the role. The IT Systems Manager will also provide technical support to the KGS community and manage the upgrades and improvements the network of IT systems within school. IT Technician Full time, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year or term time plus Kingston Grammar School are looking for an experienced IT Technician who is able to assist with the day to day running of the school’s IT systems as well as troubleshoot issues as the occur. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to problem solve effectively. Working alongside the current Network Manager and IT Technician and reporting to the Director of IT, we are interested in applications from individuals who can demonstrate a good level of technical competence to troubleshoot problems, communicate solutions effectively and provide hardware and software maintenance on a variety of devices.
