icechris Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 We are predominantly using Google Workspace and have been doing so for around 10 years now so its very embedded in the school. We want to make use of some of the features of O365 though, so have set up an account and created users etc on there. We've got a SSO solution working for students which makes it simpler to login, but for staff we want to be able to get the emails that are going to the Outlook inbox created for them to be forwarded to their Gmail accounts since Teams meetings etc would go to that address. . Is this something we can set up in the Admin panel or would each user need to set up forwarding manually instead? We've used the same username before the @ on both systems with the domain being different, is there anyway we can use that to say if email goes to [email protected] send to [email protected]?
chaplic Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 There's no way to apply this once and for all. Fairly doable via a script.
Rob_D Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 You might be able do tenancy wide (or even for a specific user group) with a mailflow connector in Office 365. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/mail-flow-best-practices/use-connectors-to-configure-mail-flow/use-connectors-to-configure-mail-flow
