Olliedawg Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Does anybody know how to set a default interval for new staff in Bromcom? Any new starters we have seem to default onto 2020 - 2021!
Marci Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 (edited) That's not making a lot of sense to me - using BC since 2019 and never heard anyone mention "default intervals"... Have data boundaries been configured under Config > Settings > Data Boundaries and thus we're we talking about "Current interval" available at My Account - https://cloudmis.bromcom.com/Nucleus/UI/Areas/User/MyAccount.aspx ? Do you have a Nucleus data boundary in place with no end-date, with a start date in the past...? Edited February 28, 2023 by Marci

Thanks for the response - I don't have massive involvement with enrolling staff onto Bromcom it's self - I rather use it to pull staff from, onto AD / O365 etc.. I have checked the config under Settings > Data Boundaries & come across this. Like you say, it seems to default new staff onto the 2020 - 2021 interval, instead of Nucleus which is what it should be on.
Olliedawg Posted February 28, 2023 Author Posted February 28, 2023 Brought it to the attention of the MIS manager.. I don't think she realized this was happening, as staff always come to me for any IT issue..
Marci Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 If they want all staff to default to Nucleus, select each Data Boundary, untick the common role for those staff (probs Teacher role), ensure it's only left ticked on Nucleus. They could go thru every data boundary and untick every role from them, and just ensure they're all selected on Nucleus, and then never touch the Data Boundaries screen again as far as I'm aware (I certainly haven't touched it since '19!) 1
