Full-time, 36 hours per week

Permanent contract

Salary: £25,803 - £28,489 per annum

Required: February/March 2023

If you offer an in-depth knowledge and understanding of ICT technologies and systems, then this position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT Technician to play a key role delivering technical support at Blackheath High School.

You will support the ICT Network Manager in the management of the ICT service desk, monitoring and maintaining the School’s ICT systems, responding to support tickets and giving advice and guidance to users where necessary. You will also install new and upgraded ICT systems, ensuring their security and integrity is maintained.

We expect you to have an understanding of the latest trends in ICT with a proven track record of working with server and network infrastructure, implementing ICT systems changes and diagnosing and resolving complex technical errors. You will also need the ability to provide advice and guidance to users in their use of ICT equipment, with additional experience of working with Microsoft server operating systems.

This is a full-time role, working all year round and the successful candidate will be expected to be flexible around the needs of the school, including during holiday periods when major works take place. There will also be a requirement for occasional evening and weekend working to support events.
