What are your IT procurement processes & how many companies / what companies do you all use?...

I tend to make use of the thecpc.ac.uk or the Crown Commercial Service.

For smaller orders I go to CCS Media and Softcat mostly. For any big tenders the BM will go with one of the LEA approved Frameworks.

I seem to repeat myself every time one of these threads pop up but I don't think you can beat CBC Computers in Sheffield.

Everything ICT framework has been great for us - they’ve been getting the pricing for us and it’s DfE approved so saves us doing tenders.

I can also say as as supplier of Everything ICT we too have had a great experience with them, the account managers really do help too.

 

Happy to put anyone in contact with Everything ICT if its of interest to anyone to save going to tender everytime. Most my customer use to avoid having to the same call multiple times with multiple suppliers so really does help. Also direct award is available too so just helps make life abit easier for the IT teams.
