Guest Guest Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 We're having issues in that one of our Teachers is unable to log in to SIMS, when she logs in, she gets the error in the below screenshot. The machine has been reimaged, however, the error persists. I've spoken with our SIMS support and they've said that this is due to permissions issues and that I need to grant the user full access to several directories, including the SIMS directory in program files which I'm reluctant to for obvious reasons. Our current permissions work for everyone else just not this particular user Has anyone else experienced this?
round2it Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 just a quick one can you rename the mysims folder in the users home drive and try again it stores some garbage in this location maybe something in that has got corrupt
Michael Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 It's a regular SIMS feature - navigate to \Documents\My SIMS Documents\ and delete their named folder Bloggs J. Re-launch SIMS and the folder is re-generated automatically.
