[sims] SIMS - user defined groups

When creating a new user defined group in SIMS I have the option to filter by year group, house etc. But is there a way to filter by fields (HAP, FSM, PP, LAP, SEND) etc. to make creating the groups for these learners a quicker admin task?

We also use EdulinkOne as a platform on top of SIMS, if anyone knows if I could create the same sort of groups in this app instead of directly in SIMS?

Within SIMS, if you choose Add Member instead of Add Student, you should see at least some of the filters you want in the Group Type drop-down. You'll probably have to create the others manually.

 

I don't believe these group filters are available in Edulink, but once the groups are created in SIMS, they're easily added.

Another way to do it is in Discover where you can set up a Dynamic group so when a new student gains the desired flag in SIMS it is automatically added to the appropriate group.
