Moving from SIMS AD user provisioning to SIMS ID or Salamander

Would you choose AD / Domain user provisioning via SIMS ID or Salamander ?We currently provision of AD with the old SIMS tool running on our local SIMS server.We have been advised that if we moved to a hosted service for our SIMS server we won't be able to stay with this so I am looking at other options.The 2 options we are currently looking at are the SIMS ID AD / Domain user provisioning tool from ESS or Salamandersoft. For those who have made the move from SIMS AD provisioning to either of these or have found another option, I would love to hear about your experience.

We are Bromcom, however before we moved I used locker https://locker.co.uk/ with SIMS, worked well for our needs and still does with Bromcom, great job with managing our Teams environment.

 

Tried SIMS ID, at the time it was over complicated and not very user friendly, this was 4 years ago so things may have changed.

Huge Salamander fan here - literally nothing to complain about - actually the opposite - whenever we've had a brainwave about something else it *could* do they've managed to do it.

 

All IT accounts managed by salamander make my IT team a happy bunch.
