OneDrive Install

Hello, I am testing OneDrive on Win10.

 

To get it installed per machine I want to install onedrivesetup.exe /allusers but the builtin in OneDrive version is already newer than the downloadable version and needs uninstalling. This will bring about a load of problems in the future with versions and scripts if I have to uninstall first.

 

Can anyone advise what they do to the OneDrive all users install, keeping it up-to-date and what they do with the builtin version (which is only current user)?

Pretty sure the per-machine install stays up-to-date automatically and matches the release cycle of the per-user install.

The OneDrive sync app with the installation option of either per-machine or per-user both use the same release notes, support the same update rings, and update in the same time-frame.

Thanks, so along as I can get the allusers version installed it should stay up to date. The trouble is the windows 10 version is newer than the downloaded version so when running setup with /allusers it prompts to uninstall the old version first..
