I saw him play in Bristol a few years ago, amazing guitarist. I've been playing for over 40 years and I had no clue how he was making half the sounds!

A friend met him a couple of times and said he was a lovely guy, very friendly and humble.

Reading the tributes from other guitarists like Gilmour,May,Iommi etc they all saw him as the 'Guvnor'.

A real loss to the music world.

Oh that is sad news. Another legend gone and it seems we are running out of them.

Like the recent realisation that there are fewer and fewer movie 'stars', the same goes for the music industry. There are few really big bands left.
