Thanks, can never have too much knowledge I guess though. All the jobs are separate to start after each other for off-site and I'm going to try and keep increments down as I'm looking for smaller disks and I'll only ever be restoring from the day before. VEEAM can back up physical hosts and could do so with the community version: I used to do this before I licensed for more features and VMs a few years ago. Physical hosts used to consume two licenses though rather than 1 for a VM, that could have changed. Yes, I've gone with the 'Community' version so far just to 'test the water'...

No problem! Just be mindful that when you chain backup jobs like that, if one job gets stuck and doesn't error out, then the other jobs chained after it won't start until it's resolved or ended. 1
