Guest Guest Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I’ve been asked by our deputy head to look into getting a system for staff to sign-in before CPD using their ID cards. I’m thinking of relocating a spare Net2 ACU we have and installing a single reader, has anyone done anything similar? Thanks
Aprice Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 Yes, We've done this with NET2 Before, two readers spaced apart connected to one ACU. The readers were mounted onto Laser Cut / Engraved acrylic with IN engraved onto one and OUT on the other. I know of a site that used the muster point function to check people out in the event of a fire, special considerations went into the server for this for obvious reasons.

localzuk Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 For a nice simple solution? I'd recommend Sign In App.
Cat_Jam148 Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 We've recently switched from Inventry to Sign In App, and couldn't be happier. Recommend highly
Guest Guest Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 We already use Sign In App for visitors etc, however, we have a spare Net2 ACU and would only cost roughly £100 for parts to move it
