Rose Bruford College is looking to hire an experienced second-line IT Technician. We are one of the leading drama and theatrical arts HE colleges in the UK, with courses including acting, lighting and stage design, audio production and many other aspects of theatrical and performance arts and production.

 

The role is based at our Sidcup campus, and the successful candidate would normally be on site 4 days a week and working one day from home. Occasional travel to our Wigan campus and other sites around the UK would also be required.

 

The technician role would be responsible for looking after end-user and infrastructure hardware (such as PCs, laptops, Wi-Fi, servers (physical and Hyper-V), telephony, printers), end-user and infrastructure software (MS Office, Office 365, various finance/HR/design/Adobe/etc packages), and provide desk-side and helpdesk support to staff and students, both on-site and remotely.

 

This is a full-time role, working 35 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, and we offer 35 days annual leave and a generous pension scheme. Any prior experience working in FE/HE, Theatre/Media Production/Events IT environments would be an advantage.
