Oaktech Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 I've been asked to replace a projector with a screen, which is fine, I do that multiple times a week at the moment! Due to the layout of the room we currently use miles of trailing cable. These cables are an issue and always have been, it's been replaced multiple times after being damaged in use. Can someone recommend me a *reliable* wireless display dongle? I've used a couple of cheap eBay dongles in the past and they've been practically unusable. The screen is an NEC if a dedicated dongle exists for it? We will need to primarily cast Windows and Mac/iOS devices, Android is less of a concern.
SamanthaD Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 If you need multi-platform compatibility then the cheaper options like Microsoft Wireless Display adapter or AppleTV are out. Kramer VIA, Wolfvision Cynap, Mersive Solstice, Extron Sharelink, Wyrestorm Synergy and Airserver Connect are all options we're looking at, but have yet to find one that ticks ALL our boxes! 1

I'll check those out. I suspect price will become an issue soon!
