Activpanel's freezing on boot

Hi all,

 

We have a few 75 inch Activpanels at our site that very occasionally freeze on boot and will get stuck when the "Activpanel" text screen comes up. The only resolution for us has been to hard power cycle the promethean at the plug socket and then it comes back on and boots normally with no freezing but this is becoming a common issues for a few activpanels here and was wondering if there is an actual long term fix of any kind and why this happens?

If you haven't already done so, give Promethean support a call. They're very helpful.

 

Last time we called with an issue, they gave us a newer firmware that flashed onto the board via USB stick.
