low profile graphics cards

Finally decided to sort my dual monitor solution.

 

Quick question, does anyone know off hand what interface a Dell Opti 745 has. I "think" its pci-e but too sure. Also dunno if its x1 or x16.

 

I either need a riser card for these chassis (desktop) or a low profile dual head card. All needs to be less than £40 ideally.

 

Anyone give me any advice on any of the above?

Seems a bit pricey for that spec card? Also, it only seems to have one head? or am i being a tard.

its a dual head, but theres a split cable that plugs into that adapter on the back.

 

Give your local PCWbusiness dept a ring, they should be able to do an educational price

745 is definitely PCI-E

 

Best bet is probably an ATI jobbie with either a Y-splitter that gives you one DVI-D and VGA, or dual DVI or dual VGA (depends on the card)

 

MCS Technology Ltd should have some listed under video cards
