tangotech Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Don't suppose anyone has come up with a work round to get Android 12 users onto the school wireless? Do not validate is no longer an option so they devices will not connect.... Any ideas what we can do to help our users onto the wireless?
TechMonkey Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 You need to have a valid server certificate for your Wi-Fi. There isn't a work around. https://www.securew2.com/blog/android-11-server-certificate-validation-error-solution/
tangotech Posted November 14, 2022 Author Posted November 14, 2022 How can we do this with smoothwall?...
TechMonkey Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 It's not linked to Smoothwall, it will need to be sorted on your RADIUS server.
tangotech Posted November 14, 2022 Author Posted November 14, 2022 smoothwall is our RADIUS and accounting server
chris11256 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 I have android users download the radius server certificate and install it on their device as a Wifi certificate. Once they've gone through the steps their Android connects with no problems.
