Searching apps - Windows 11

Hello,

 

Our Year 1's are doing a lesson on how to open up software from using different methods (Start Button, Search & Desktop).

 

I've noticed that when they click on All Apps only the pre-installed apps appear! They do not have access to C drive, could this be why it's not working?

 

Also, on the settings everything has been hidden apart from sound, so do they need access to the programs list?

 

ANy help would be great.
