having some issues with this.

 

in web filter log I put in denied for category and I'm seeing this

 

 

is this because app doesn't like "decrypt and inspect" ?

Should I add edshed.com to a category and set "do not filter" in web filter and/or

do not inspect in HTTPS inspection policies ?

 

edit: tempted to add a "do not filter" and a "do not inspect" for whole Education and Reference category or is that a bit rash ?

I'd go for just "do not inspect" - DNF is a bit of a blunt instrument.

 

One other option is our ipad app - this gives a filtered browser, along with some safeguards to prevent users using other browsers. This lets apps operate unfettered.
