m2d2 Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Is there such a thing as a diagnostic boot disk HP desktop and laptop computers. Unlike Dell, HP don't do diagnostic partitions. Sometimes I find it useful to test the computer without going into Windows. Do HP provide a way of doing this?
MyDejaVu Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 if you want to check partitions, why dont you download the utility tools from the hard drive manufacturers?
maniac Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 I think HP servers come with a Diagnostics disc, but I'm not sure about their Desktops/Laptops. I use something like Main Page - SystemRescueCd to run diagnostic checks, works well on most PCs. Mike.
