Does anyone have a better method of sharing calendars with staff on the same domain within Outlook/Office 365?

Currently, it is a right pain. Staff A shares their calendar with Staff B. Staff B accepts but has to manually add the calendar to Outlook - and this doesn't always pull through.

We have to then do the same vice-versa, and I find myself going back and forth updating share permissions and adding calendars. Am I missing something obvious?

I've investigated creating shared calendars (e.g., an SLT calendar) but the calendars are so full it will cause more chaos to try and move them over.

Hi,

Currently involved with the same thing.

I think the short answer is no. We have done exactly the same thing with instructions on how to add it to their own personal calendar. We set the share rules to send the link to our Security group of 'All Staff' and everything seems to be running fine and if we had any issues we were going to resend the link and set that difficult individual their own right to have access to the calendar.

This is about the 3rd time of trying to do this. But have found it is mostly user error on why a calendar is not showing.

EDIT: We have also had the delight of finding out whether users use Outlook or Web base version. Which sometimes conflicts (somehow) with sharing the calendar.
