Microbit will not allow me to save code into it, it says that the drive is blocked yet it seems to work fine as the LEDs turn on. Can anyone help me with this issue? X2PBmBgHDGgAAAAASUVORK5CYII=

If you are a student, you should speak to the teacher who has organised this...

...and it sounds like they should talk to someone who is authorised to make changes to a policy clearly set to stop you plugging things in!

I am studying an apprenticeship in an IT technician program. I have never used Microsoft azure/endpoint which is what the company I work for is using. I wanted to see if anyone knew how I could go about whitelisting specific USB ports so that I could use this specific micro bit - I only want the MICROBIT to work, nothing else.

Thanks.

Update the firmware on the micro:bit to the latest version (will require a device, even a personal device that allows the maintenance drive to appear as a storage device), and the upgrade will provide an alternative option of programming the Micro:bit whilst hooked up via USB, displaying as a DAPLink device in the makecode website, so no longer need to copy hex files to the D drive.
