IT NETWORK ENGINEER

Are you looking for a hands-on IT Network Engineer position? If so, this will be an exciting opportunity to work in one of the leading boarding schools in the UK. This is an exciting time to join our already effective IT team to support and provide an outstanding IT service to our school community. Within this technical position, you will develop and maintain to a high standard, the security, functionality, and integrity of all of the school’s network infrastructure and systems.

It is desirable that you have a professional IT qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent and you will bring a full complement of knowledge of IT and be able to demonstrate experience at a senior level in IT and experience as a Network Engineer. It is therefore essential that you are fully conversant with a managed network switching architecture and VLan topology together with experience of VMware technologies.

You will have strong technical network experience and be conversant with the hardware and software likely to be used in a boarding school environment.

This is a full-time all year-round position and the successful person will be required to work flexibly. There is a requirement to work during the weekends on a rota basis.
