Microsoft 365 A3 Licenses and CSP

Hi all,

 

We're getting conflicting information from two license resellers re Microsoft 365 A3 Faculty licenses and Windows Server CALS.

 

One reseller has informed us that Windows Server CALS are still required for students, whereas the other is telling us the CALS are required based on the student free use benefit of the Microsoft 365 A3 Faculty license.

 

Help!

So essentially you're saying we also need to source CALs for students?

You CSP 'overlooked' that bit. I'm sure if you push them they will charge you for it. There is a "quiet part" here that we can't say out loud.
