mailmerge with attachments

Hi, we're using GL assessments for year group assessments. At the end of the assessment GL assessments generates a pdf for each student which we can bulk download.

Is there a good way to e-mail these assessment results to each student? We're trying to not print them out basically.

 

Is a straightforward mail merge the best method or is there a better way?

 

If mail merge is the best way do it, can any of you provide help or pointers to get the right file attached to the right e-mail?

Standard mail merge won’t cut it for attachments that need to be different for each recipient.

You’ll need a 3rd party tool for this.

I’ve used Mail Merge Toolkit https://www.mapilab.com/outlook/mail_merge/ before which we used for a similar scenario. Worked pretty well!
