Hi,

We have re-ip'd our internal network. Since doing so we are unable to update our SCCM instance with the prerequisite check failing.

I have checked the log files and get several error messages referring to the sql database instance:

ERROR:Can not get sql instance regkey. $$<09-23-2022 10:22:25.940-60>

ERROR: Failed to extract NetBIOS name from $$<09-23-2022 10:30:58.511-60>ERROR:Failed to get Sql edition, Sql Server: instance:. $$<09-23-2022 10:22:25.941-60>

Cannot connect to key SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full on $$<09-23-2022 10:26:42.110-60>

ERROR: Failed to get sql service account, Server:, instance:<>. $$<09-23-2022 10:21:35.226-60>

ERROR: Failed to connect to WMI namespace on NEF-SRV-SQL.NEFUTC.INTERNAL $$<09-23-2022 10:15:32.048-60>

This error has only appeared since the re ip of the network.

All boundary groups within SCCM have the correct FQDN of the sql server set.

The account used for sql service account is a domain joined account with correct level of access.

Is there something missing within our SCCM environment that should be reconfigured with the new ip addresses etc?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Phil

Any help would be appreciated
