Teams assignments on an archived team site

Hi,

 

I have an issue with a teacher who is still seeing assignments they created last year. But the team that is linked has been archived. Are assignments meant to disappear when the team has been archived?

Update on this, the assignments should clear from the assignments tab when the team is archived. After logging a support call with Microsoft, this turned out to be a known bug with teams. They applied a patch to our Tennant. Should know by next week if it has fixed this issue.
