Old kit to find a home for

I have been given a couple of old Compaq bits of kit - an E500 which I know isnt worth much, and a PC TC1000. The latter is pretty cool as we have the keyboard and the screen swivels.

No idea if either work as we dont have power supplies. Using a slightly not right power supply boots the E500 but that is all - it never gets past the Win 98 bit and we think it is searching for some sort of network as it was probably a work laptop back in the day.

 

There are a few TC1000s on ebay but the prices are all over the place.

 

Can anyone advise on what the best thing to do would be and what they are actually worth?

Did you look at the sold listing on eBay (rather than the current for sale prices). That usually balances out the prices and gives a better indication of what the market will pay.
