Staff Room Display Screen - PC Stick Suitable Software

Hi there,

 

We have a staff room TV with an HDMI PC Stick attached. I think it is a Dell one with Windows installed.

 

Can anyone recommend the best way to set this up so that I can have a deputy access it and insert the info for the day onto it?

Ideally, we want just one screen, not alternating content, just nice and simple.

 

Not sure if I should just buy her a wireless kb with integrated mouse and stick powerpoint on or if there is something which would make things easier?

If the deputy just wants to update a powerpoint, You could try ShowPoint, Which monitors a folder (eg: could be on a network share) and will display the newest powerpoint in the folder.

Depending on how tech-savvy they are, a free solution is VNC and PowerPoint.
