Heres an odd one, anyone come accross this before.. there is an account that displays everything fine in OWA but the Sent Items folder shows empty. When you view the mailbox in Outlook 2003, the Sent Items folder is filled and if you open another account on the same computer, in the users environment, the folder is filled.

I dont think its a permissions issue, I'm guessing the mailbox is corrupted in some way but not sure what the best way to approach this. Full restore of the mailbox? Delete the mailbox and create another?

I had similar issue with a teacher recently where they had picked a filter on the Inbox that meant no messages were showing up.

Any chance you have a filter set ?

OWA does have filter of sorts.

Ie it should say Sent Items ‎(Sent To)‎ next to OWA logo

If I change it to

Sent Items ‎(Unread By Conversation Topic)‎ it appears to be empty

Yes - usually it gets set to "Unread Messages" and you get wailing teachers saying "All my emails have disappeared"
