Hi,

We have an issue with Lightspeed Relay following upgrading to the most recent Agent 2.2.3 - The agent looks like it continuously rebooting/not loading. Essentially pages do not load and you just get a 'waiting on proxy' message in the bottom left of the screen. You also get various messages such as this .... This site can’t be reached Google took too long to respond.

If you keep refreshing you will probably manage to load a webpage after about 10 retries and then the next page won't load.

We have been on with Lightspeed Support for over a week now and have made little progress -

We've verified AV exclusions are in place

We use Senso but even uninstalling this from a machine doesn't fix the problem so I don't think it's Senso interfering but Lightspeed is insistent it is as they say the webpage is returning a Senso SSL certificate - I have removed all the registry leftover from the uninstall from Senso however we still have the issue with Lightspeed Relay but it is now returning a Lightspeed Certificate when failing (so in my eyes that rules out Senso!)

Has anyone seen anything similar previously and have any pearls of Wisdom.

If we remove the Lightspeed Agent from a device the internet works normally so it's definitely the Lightspeed Agent causing the problems. It's causing lots of frustration amongst the staff who are trying to work in school as the internet is next to un-useable.

I should add lightspeed have been working on this as 'Critical' for over a week with no progress - we're still left with an Internet that is un-useable!

Regards,

Dean.

We've seen Senso interfering with network traffic from last week, stopping the senso service appeared to fix the issue. Not using Lightspeed though.

Thanks useful to know - we've disabled all of the Senso SSL/IP inspection stuff as part of the investigation already and also removed Senso completely so it's definitely a Lightspeed issue. I've finally managed to get a remote session with the Technical Services manager tomorrow morning so hopefully might make some progress.

We managed to resolve the issue today by following the steps below - It's resolved all our issues with Senso/Lightspeed Relay and also SCCM deployments which where failing due to content mismatch (Sophos interfering with the file transfer/cache!). I appreciate not an ideal solution but until Sophos resolve the issues with their product this is better than a non-working network.

If you wish to stop Network Threat Protection you will need to turn off the following features from Sophos Central.

- Real-time Scanning - Internet

- Protect network traffic

- Web Control

The Sophos Network Threat Protection service will remain running, but the process "SophosNetFilter.exe" will be stopped.
