mdrabble Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Sounds like a stupid question - but how do people assign Minecraft Licences to users? I have the licences - but there is a bit conflicting showing on my Office 365 Portal. On the 365 Portal -> Billing -> Licenses - Minecraft isnt listed. On the 365 Portal -> Billing -> Your Products - Minecraft is listed with the number of licesnses but I cannot assigned licenses as I get an error and it shows number assigned as 0 If I go to the Education Store - I can assign licences to a user by adding their email address and I can see the number of licenses assigned - which is different to above I've gone back to my reseller, who has gone to the supplier and we are told the only way to assigned licenses is via the Store. - which is retireing in the Q1 of 2023! So how do other people assign their Minecraft Licenses? is the Store the only way? Cheers
Steve21 Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 How did you get the licenses? If it's via A3 etc we just assign them in 365 But when it was separate we used auto-assign in the store, so you don't need to worry about assigning them and they just get it when logging into MCEE Steve

FragglePete Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Has to be the A3 Microsoft licenses to get Minecraft, NOT the A3 office. We bought 5 CSP licenses as an extra which gives the 40:1 ratio of student licenses. I have to manually remove their A1 Pro Plus license and assigned the A3 Microsoft license to each member of the Minecraft 'Club'. Pete
