Hoping someone has a good method for organising a school calendar? At the moment ours starts life in a spreadsheet, then once we're pretty sorted it makes its way to an outlook calendar which we can share with staff. What we wonder - is there a way to then make this feed directly to our website? We'd be keen to be able to tag events in the calendar- and only have the tagged ones go to the website? (So we could tag with #public - or something....). Would be even better if we could easily get a monthly summary - like "the month ahead" that could be added to our staff notices?

Hoping for some miraculous solution!

Thanks

We're using Google but the same principles will apply.

We have about half a dozen different calendars: some are made public (term dates is one, school events like concerts, etc. is another) and some are shared only with staff. As well as allowing for distinctions between private/public it also means that end users can show/hide the different calendars in their calendar app for ease of use.

Multiple public calendars, exams, term dates, events, and multiple private ones, syncing to Wordpress so each event can also be an entity in Wordpress
