New sub-section / sub-forum? Cyber Security Essentials and Plus

Hi All,

 

I was wondering if it would be possible to create sub-forums for Cyber Security Essentials and Cyber Security Plus - so that schools/academies that are going for this and or maintaining their accreditation can discuss issues, share best practices, etc.

We don't currently have sub forums in any of the major forums, but it may be a possibility on the new site (Think 'Technical and 'General Forums as catagories rather than actual forums). I'll flag this up with @ZeroHour and see what he can suggest.

I also think the website should be careful of focusing to much on the UK. Especially considering the international presence they have been trying to build. For example going to trade shows in the USA.

There are a number of standards and schemes used across the globe, in the same way that CE+ is within the UK.

I'd be happy to see if I can get a session running about the Forthcoming Global Education Security Standard, which can flag against CE+, ST4S (AU/NZ), NIST 80-171, CSF, ISO27001 and so on.

I would definitely support a group for CE and CE+
