haci Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Hi All hoping someone may have a quick solution that may have come across this before. Data manager is running individual reports (focus > assessment > individual report) for each year group exporting to PDF and it fails on either students that have left or joined us very recently and therefore have no results. When exporting to Word rather than PDF it works as expected and just outputs them as blank. Likely to be something simple but my google skills are coming up short, any suggestions?
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Set the effective date in the Individual Report to be the date the teachers finished entering the data for the reports, that way it won't include any of the new pupils and everyone should have a result to report on. 1
haci Posted July 13, 2022 Author Posted July 13, 2022 Thanks for the suggestion, it may have saved me some time but I've since removed the students with no data by process of elimination and completed the reports required. I was just hoping for a solution to the issue for the future as the data manager tells me it used to work fine exporting to PDF when students had no data. as it works fine with word I assumed it may be something to do with adobe but have tried installing various versions but had no joy. Guess when I get some downtime I'll log it with our support but not a pressing issue right now and can mitigate it when it is. Cheers
thorpen Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 When you are selecting students, you can click on the header row to sort by reg group. Leavers will have their reg group in brackets and can be deselected. 1
haci Posted July 13, 2022 Author Posted July 13, 2022 That's what I did Thorpen and then ran the reports until they failed on students that had recently joined (no data) then removed them and unticked all the previously completed ones.
