[SIMS] How long should it take to 'validate group memberships'?

I'm at the Pastoral Promotion stage of setting up next year in SIMs. Validate Group memberships has been running for 1h 25m. I remember it being a lengthy process, but not this long. Is it just a case of waiting it out or could there be other issues here?

Its going to be a close thing between this and FFT 'taking a few minutes' to generate target setting estimates
