Exchage 2007 advice please

Currently we have a pretty beefy exchnge server running exchange 2007 standard.

We currently have all staff using outlook and OWA from home.

 

Over the summer we want to also put all the students onto the exchange box.

But i was wondering:

 

Can we have 2 separate address books? (only enterprise?)

one for all the staff that doesnt see the kids, and one for the students that the staff doesnt see?

 

Can we keep the student and staff policies separate? i.e different size attachments and mnailbox sizes??

AFAIK, in standard you have one big address book, but in enterprise you can have upto 5 (i think), and then i think only in enterprise is the answer you are looking for in the rest of the questions

You could start messing about with hiding from the address book but that gets very messy.

 

You can create different address lists seperate from your Global Address List (GAL) which is what is created when you install Exchange.

As above, you need Enterprise for most of what you want to do...

With Enterprise you can create a new mailbox store, to which you can then assign differing policies too (Size Limits, Attachments, etc..)
