[sims] The URN in the CTF is different...

Our SIMS person has just emailed to say they are getting an error whilst importing new users for next year.

 

"The URN XXXXXX in the CTF is different from the one on the Other School details - XXXXXX"

 

Checking on the .Gov site it would appear the 'Other School Details' number is from when it was an Infant School (closed) and the new number is an Academy (must have changed since last year).

 

How do I get SIMS to accept it is the 'same' school and update the details to allow the CTF to import (hopefully without breaking anything or destroying any historic data), or do I have to create another one?

If you have the correct permissions in SIMS you can edit it by going to 'Tools | Other Schools', finding the school to amend and put in the new details.

Hahaha! Cookie mining my data to suggest relevant advertisements...? Never! Or just blatantly placed in the relevant forum perchance...?

 

Without looking too closely, I thought you had actually found me out and done a screenshot of the exact same question I posted on here last year.... I just found it on my Interweb search...

 

Well, I'm the age where I forget what I did yesterday... but why waste what little brain power I have remembering things when I've got EDUGEEK!

 

It's been a long year... already.... is it over yet!
