Best way to separate mock grades and coursework grades (aspect ,result set etc.)

Hi all,

I've been tasked with making marksheets for year 10 mock examinations. As many of you are no doubt aware these are slightly less straight forward due to non exam assessment grades alongside mock exam grades.

I was wondering, how is it best to separate these. I'm not overly familiar with SIMS and want to avoid a horrible mistake before I commit to applyingit to all subjects.

A part of me thinks that there is no hard in the following setup:

Column Heading

Aspect Name

Result Set

Art Mock Grade

Art 1-9

Summer Term

Art NEA Grade

Art 1-9

Summer Term

Does this present issues of data overwriting itself? What is it best to change, the aspect or the result set?

Apologies for such basic questions

SIMS won't let you add the same aspect and result set combination to the same template

and as each aspect/result set combination can only ever contain one result, they would end up overwriting one another if on separate marksheets

I'd be swinging towards creating a mock result set

Agreed, whenever I was doing anything with assessment previously I would try to keep as few aspects as possible and build up using result sets.
