NEC VT595 LCD wobble?

I took home an old NEC projector from work and i took it apart since the image was a bit wobbly even when just slightly touching it, I fastened a screw on what I assume is a lense and saw that the 3 LCD assembly is just free standing, now im asking myself, is it supposed to be like this? I still have it taken apart so i havent tested if fastening that lense piece does anything, if it doesn't I'd appreciate any help on that wobble as well!
