Just wanted to see if anyone has used these before?

Testing out the video and it's fine, but audio seems to be much quieter...?

EDIT: I'm guessing it has something to do with the digital signal coming from the HDMI port being redirected into the analogue jack of the adapter... still disappointing if it can't be solved.

I was hoping to just train staff to use the adapter for both, but it seems as if they will still have to use the laptop speaker jack and change it to that in the audio settings...

Just to add...

The headphone jack has a lot more treble and the HDMI sounds much smoother (although this is also possibly due to the lower volume).

A very unscientific method (quick field test with an iPhone and the NIOSH Sound Level Meter app placed in front of the speakers) shows the normal laptop headphone jack producing 90+ db and the HDMI only producing 70+ db.
