MYK-IT Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 (edited) Hi, Just testing deployment of Adobe Creative Cloud package, via Intune (MEM) to Windows 10 computers etc, and applications installing, and loading OK (to the sign-in screen) etc. However, the issue is with Adobe Premiere Rush, upon loading we get the 'update required' prompt. I have referred to article https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html and confirmed that the computer has all the latest updates applied. Though I do wonder why it is still relying on IE11 when it goes EOL in a few weeks time? Any suggestions? Also, is it worth packaging and installing the 'long-term supported' versions of the Adobe CC apps? Especially if it saves having to push out updates regularly? Thanks, Edited May 26, 2022 by MYK-IT
free780 Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 You can run a CLI to force updates on a scheduled task. https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/using-remote-update-manager.html The Creative Cloud Application keeps itself up to date even for standard users. There was an option when you create the deployment to force login via the default browser Edge/Chrome. It can be configured in a xml file. https://helpx.adobe.com/in/enterprise/using/customize-creative-cloud-app.html 1

The software should be (and is) up-to-date as I only built the packages yesterday. I have checked again now, and no further updates either via the Adobe Admin Console or using 'Remote Update Manager' are available. I have also amended the XML file to 'enable' browser-based login, but still no joy. All the other applications load and present the Adobe sign-in page, it's just Premier Rush that prompts that the browser or operating system is no longer supported. Thanks,
MYK-IT Posted May 26, 2022 Author Posted May 26, 2022 The workaround appears to be that you need to open, and sign in via the Adobe Creative Cloud app first, then open Adobe Premier Rush (although all the other apps load the sign-in page initially). Just noticed an Error 506 (https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/exit-code-506-creative-cloud.html) suggesting that I need to allow sideloading of apps and / or enable AllowAllTrustedApps to 1 within the registry (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Appx) as Adobe Creative Cloud couldn't update - just wanted to check if that's what other ACC schools have done too? e.g. the regtweak Thanks 1
ConTheITGuy Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 I've got the same problem, the only workaround I've found has been to open the program again while the message is on screen. Adobe support tried blaming our network rather than CC.
