My team within Oxford University are currently recruiting for a IT / AV officer, details below....

 

Oxford University Gardens, Libraries and Museums are currently recruiting for a 1-Year Fixed Term IT / AV Officer to join the Gardens & Museums IT Team.

 

Due to the increasing prevalence of technology across GLAM and the use of such in commercial and public-facing aspects of operations, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced IT and AV professional to join the Gardens & Museums IT team on a one year fixed-term contract to fully investigate, analyse, and develop solutions to these new and emerging requirements.

 

Alongside the Service Manager, the IT & AV Officer will be responsible for the analysis of Audio Visual and Commercial Computing systems used within GLAM, and for developing and implementing a service to support these, which will include Windows management and maintenance and the documentation of these solutions. Such systems include Gallery Interactives and Point of Sale computers.

 

As the Gardens, Libraries and Museums are public facing parts of the University some of the AV elements, such as Gallery Interactives and Displays, are of particular interest and instantly rewarding, through being able to see the impact of your work to visitors of the spaces.
