Residential FTTP ownership

I've signed up for a home FTTP connection with Trooli. They are the only company offering this service in my area.

They are installing lines locally, the cabling is all physically marked 'trooli'.

 

With copper, the lines are (generally) owned by Openreach and other companies can offer their services on the Openreach network.

Do new residential FTTP providers operate in the same way? so that I could change provider after my fixed term should another company offer a similar service - or would another provider need to install their own cabling?

I believe only those ISPs that partner with Trooli will be able to use the cable as it stands right now as I dont think its regulated.

You need to stay with Trooli.
