Chrome and Notepad++ suspended in task manager??

Hi

 

A member of staff has reported as of yesterday, Chrome and Notepad++ are suspended in task manager. No green leaf icon being displayed like when services are suspended by the UWP process group.

 

No new software has been installed and nothing else has changed.

 

The member of staff says that it takes a long time during a lesson, for Chrome and Notepad ++ to start responding. He is having to reboot which takes a while.

 

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

Interestingly when I login with the admin account Chrome and Notepad don’t appear to suspend...

I don’t suppose anyone has come across third party apps being suspended in windows 10, which then seems to take at least a minute for the app to respond?

No I haven’t had this trouble as of yet.

I’m not sure what could be the matter with it, have you looked at the event logs?

Never seen this before and when I log in with the admin account, no 3rd party apps seem to become suspended??

 

I haven’t checked the event log, but will when I get some spare time.
